First Days: Stay away from the computer, but ask someone to read this page for you.

The first few days after having a mild concussion are surprising. First of all, you may think to yourself, “if this is mild, I can’t imagine what someone with a severe concussion would be feeling right now.” Let me just say that the term mild concussion is only a classification regarding the description of the injury. If you weren’t knocked unconscious for a significant length of time, then the concussions fits within the very broad category of mild. If you have come home from the hospital with this diagnosis, it is not any judgement on the pain or severity of the symptoms you are experiencing. Take a concussion seriously, and if you do nothing else in the next few days, please follow this advice: Go to bed. Rest is probably the best thing for you right now.
